I can’t believe we only have a couple more working days in Chile, but don’t worry we haven’t slowed down yet! We finished putting up the insulation and the wall for the cafeteria. Work is continuing on our lovely “Casa B” and it is almost ready to be lived in! Amy Reynolds is doing a great job feeding us all, we are eating like kings! The girls of the home are very excited that we were able to buy 2 new industrial sewing machines and a salon chair!
Sunday was such a great day! We went to our home church here in Santiago where TJ, Scott, Angela, Dianne, and Laura did an excellent job for our worship, the group even sang in ESPANOL! The church (as well as the rest of the group) was blessed to hear testimonies of Melody (from Idaho), Maggie, Amy (from Ohio), and TJ. They did a fantastic job sharing how God has been such a big part in their lives! After church we had an hour drive to visit a very small town where we did a whole lotta shopping and ate…and ate….and ate at a great restaurant where we had live entertainment of some traditional Chilean dances. It was a very memorable experience!
Some prayer requests would be for fast recovery for Donna’s hip. She is doing well and moving around camp with the aid of a walker. Allen went to the hospital on Monday for an injury to his knee he received this weekend. He is in a full leg cast, as he broke his kneecap. Please continue to pray for Dianne, as the situation with the girl she is trying to assist in moving to Canada progresses. Lily will need to stay in Santiago at least until March. Dianne and Lily have an appointment at the Embassy next week. We leave for our trip to Mendoza, Argentina on Thursday, please pray for safe travel and border crossing.
Thank you for your prayers,
Vision for Chile
