The team left Saturday for home. I have heard from all of them. They all had good flights and are glad to be home with their families. We want to thank Bob, Kerry and Tanya for a great two weeks. It is amazing to see how much work and ministry was accomplished. Thank you Jesus!
But before they left, we had a very busy two days. Friday was the final day of our three day VBS. It is so awesome to see the kids [mostly street kids and orphans] come and enjoy VBS. On that last day we had 31 children. The music, games, bible stories, skits and great snacks made it a wonderful day. The staff and young women of the House of Hope are very good in putting on a VBS. Jessica was a part of our three days and added a lot of class to an already Steller performance. The team played the disciples in all of the skits. It was great to see how well the skits were received. Thank you disciples.
On Saturday the last day in town for the team, it is usually pretty quiet however we had about 25 volunteers show up to help us continue working on many of the projects that we are trying to complete. It was great to see everyone and once again accomplish so much. Thank you volunteers! You are all so much appreciated.
While all of this work was being completed, we had our Kids Zone in action. This is a high powered type Sunday school for the unchurched kids in La Pintana. We had over 20 kids come out.
Once again we want to thank our VFC family for your prayers and support. God is doing some amazing work in our community. We could not minister as we are without you! God bless!
