Daniel shares us more about the m ministry and its expansion as well as the impact he sees it turning in long-term.

What have been the greatest challenges and satisfactions in this ministry?
When we started Casa Esperanza it was from scratch, with an empty lot and many dreams to help and bless the children, adolescents and young people of our community. It has been very nice to see the development, to face the challenges as a family with Jessica and also as a family in Christ with the foundation.

What do you want to be part of Vision for Children and HOH?
Be an active part in the search for justice and dignity for children, adolescents and young people who have experienced extreme violence and live in violation; to be able to deliver, through our ministries and programs, real help for young people who have finished their studies. We have assumed these challenges as a family, we never think it will be so difficult, but so beautiful at the same time.

What is coming for 2018 and the next 5 years?
Casa Esperanza currently has a residence for teenagers and young people, a community center and a community support network for schools in La Pintana, which have an established organizational structure. It was always the intention to open another center, that is why in this year 2018 we started an opening process in the south of Chile, specifically in the Lakes Region. We will be working with some schools of high vulnerability and helping in the planting of a church belonging to the Baptist Church (UBACH) in a nearby community. We feel it is time to expand our ministry to another region and be able to be a blessing to other children and families who need Christ. In particular, I will continue as executive director at the national level of the foundation and in charge of the headquarters in the region of the lakes of Chile, seeing the way that at 5 years, God willing, we can have another residence that fulfills the task of supporting in crucial moments in the lives of the adolescents and young people harmed.
