At Vision for Children, we believe every child deserves more than just survival — they deserve the opportunity to thrive. That’s why we are thrilled to be building a new Vocational Education Center at the House of Hope in La Pintana, Chile.
This center will teach valuable, life-changing trades including electrical, plumbing, welding, carpentry, auto mechanics, and furniture building. More importantly, it will be a place where young lives are introduced to the hope, purpose, and transforming love of Jesus Christ.
Progress So Far
Our journey began in October 2025 when we completed the foundation. This past March, a faithful team returned and successfully erected the building. Today, the roof and exterior walls are finished — a true testament to God’s goodness and the power of generous hearts working together.
Next Steps
This October, we will return to complete the interior: installing cabinets and workbenches, running electrical and plumbing, finishing the walls, and adding an overhead door and pass-through door. We are prayerfully targeting an opening date of January 2027.
We are trusting God to provide everything needed to finish strong — from funding the interior build-out to supplying quality tools and materials for the students.
A Growing Family
We’re also celebrating that three new girls have joined our program this year, bringing our total to eight beautiful girls receiving consistent love, care, and support at the House of Hope.
