Update from the Temuco Internship Team

Family and friends,

Greetings from Chile! My name is Ben Horne and I will be writing the updates about our trip here in the C&MA seminary in Temuco, Chile. While here, we will be facilitating conversational English classes for students, pastors, and missionaries who wish to improve their skills in English. Our team consists of Andreas Mantzke, our leader, a photographer/missionary who lives in the San Juan Islands in Washington State. Heather Myers attends Plattsburgh State University where she is studying Spanish and Communication Disorders and Sciences. She hails from Mooers, New York while I attend Crown College in Saint Bonifacius, Minnesota, where I am studying History and Bible. I currently reside in Eustis, Florida. Tom Orme, the director for Vision for Chile, will be staying with us until Wednesday the 20th when he will leave for work in Santiago, Chile.

Our team arrived Saturday the 16th at 8:30 pm. Sunday we attended Second Alliance Church which is right up the road from the seminary. We do our grocery shopping at the mall in Temuco, which is a short walk away. The city is surrounded by green hills with active volcanoes about an hour away in several directions. Our first day of teaching will be tomorrow, Wednesday. Please pray that we would be efficient with the time and resources God has blessed us with and that we would be able to be His witness as we help this ministry. Thank you all for your love, prayers, and support.

God Bless,
