Testimony, Nido de Aguilas Chile.

Students in Chile can contribute not only to noble causes in our country, but this type of experience can also mean a lot in their learning. When we came to House of Hope, we wanted to help, to contribute with our enthusiasm and knowledge, to raise funds to rebuild the multi-purpose court, a dream cherished by the headquarters in La Pintana for many years – a  dream that as sportsmen we shared and valued in all its magnitude. Nido school here for week without walls.

Español We at the house of hope are blessed to have Nido school here for week without walls. This is the fifth year they have sent volunteers for construction and working with the kids at two local schools. We have 35 students from grades 9 through 12.
We are painting, pouring concrete, organizing our tools and inventory, building a sound proof wall for the drums classroom, and pressure washing the exterior of our buildings at the house of hope. We will be laying tile and doing a spring cleaning of the grounds tomorrow and Friday also. A big thank you to Nido school and the students and teachers they so graciously provide.

HOLA! This is Tanya Evenson from Belle Plaine, MN filling in for Tom in Santiago, Chile to tell you all about what we at the House of Hope have been up to this week.

The day was full of good food, soccer, football, and learning new games like La Chapa Y La Peste and Red Light/Green Light. The entire place was filled with the joy of the Lord displayed through the children’s twinkling eyes and gum filled smiles.
