This is our first update. Our goal is to keep you informed as to what we are doing in both the areas of construction and ministry.
We are a small team but a very experienced one. We all arrived into Santiago over the past several days. We all arrived safely and on time. Our newest team member is Tanya from the Great State of Minnesota. She comes to us from the River Rock Church in Belle Plaine. She is the fourth person to come to the House of Hope from that church. We appreciate their support. This is our first work day.
Our construction team is in the process of organizing and strategizing as to our priorities. However Bob is working hard in our upstairs apartment to complete the wiring so we have lights. We just recently added a bedroom to that apartment. Bob and Jose make a good team.
Kerry and Tanya have started working on the spackling of our drywall in the Multi-purpose building. It seems as if we have been spackling forever, not really but it seems that way.
We look forward to our time here. We plan to visit/ minister to the schools and Hogar’s that we work with. God willing, we plan to go to the beautiful Andes Mountains for some R&R. More to come, stay in touch. Please keep us in prayer!
